With more than 20 years of experience in delivering hundreds of thousands of private in-home

music lessons, Piano Lessons in Your Home will find the best teacher to meet your particular needs.

CONVENIENCE

Lessons in your home eliminate the hassle of traveling to yet another appointment elsewhere.  Find more enjoyable and productive things to do with your time, all while listening in on the lesson!

SAFETY

We conduct thorough reference and formal background checks on every teacher to ensure your comfort bringing that teacher into your home.  We match teachers and adult students (and children, upon request) by gender.

COMPETITIVE PRICES

Lessons are priced month-to-month with no long-term commitment.  You'll find that we compare favorably on pricing to your local studio - only with us, you'll save valuable driving and waiting time!

FLEXIBILITY

We'll work with you to find a teacher that can not only teach at your place, but also your time.  Our lesson plans make it easy to take vacations and allow the flexibility to make schedule adjustments directly with your teacher.

THE BEST TEACHERS

We hire only the very best music teachers - most with advanced degrees and years of experience - following extensive interviews that include performance auditions and formal training.

LIVE RECITALS

All of our teachers conduct a live recital for their students at least once per year in a convenient location.  Recitals are optional for students but are an important opportunity to develop practice habits along with  performance skills.

Serving neighborhoods across the Cincinnati community

Cincinnati was Piano Lessons in Your Home’s second Ohio location, following our flagship operation founded in Columbus in 1996.  Our network of Cincinnati teachers cover most of the city, offering not only piano but also guitar, cello and violin lessons throughout the area and the corridor running north to greater Dayton.  Contact us to check current availability at your home address!

Cincinnati music connections

The Queen City boasts a rich musical heritage.  Dating back to the 1800s, the city was known for its many singing societies, many of them populated by German immigrants.  The legacy of these groups lives on today with many heirs of these societies still in action, along with Cincinnati’s world renowned May Festival, the oldest continuous choral festival in the Western Hemisphere.

Cincinnati became known for a much different style of music later on in the 1950s and 60s, when it transformed into a hotbed of R&B and soul.  This in part because of its native sons the Isley Brothers, but perhaps moreso because of the city’s King Records label, which launched the careers of James Brown, Nina Simone and dozens of other luminaries of the form.
