About Piano Lessons In Your Home
Bringing music lessons home since 1996.
Piano Lessons in Your Home was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1996 with a simple idea: make high-quality private music lessons easier for busy families by bringing exceptional instructors directly to the student’s home.
Thirty years later, that simple idea is still at the heart of what we do. PLIYH instructors have taught more than 500,000 lessons, helping students of all ages build skills, confidence and a lifelong connection to music.
Our Teachers Make the Difference
Our program simply wouldn’t be possible without our incredible instructor team. We personally recruit and screen our teachers through interviews, auditions, references and background checks. From there, we work to match each student with an instructor based on experience, goals, personality, schedule and location.
We’re proud of the teachers who represent PLIYH and love introducing families to instructors who can become an important part of their musical lives.
Music Lessons Designed for Real Life
Our in-home music program was created to make music lessons easier to fit into busy lives. Instead of adding another drive across town, your instructor comes to you.
Lessons are available for children, teens and adults—from brand-new beginners to experienced musicians looking to continue growing.
Our Program
We offer private in-home instruction in piano, voice, violin and guitar, subject to instructor availability.
